The museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except on January 1st, May 1st, and December 25th, when it is closed. There is a late opening on the first Friday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (ticket office closes at 9:00 p.m.).

Persons under 18 years and EU residents under 26 may enter free with a valid ID, but they must have a ticket for entry. Tickets can be obtained only at the museum's ticket counter.
Visitors with mobility disabilities are invited to enter at 6 boulevard des Invalides. Places are reserved for them in the back alleys. All the Museum’s spaces are accessible and equipped with lifts. Please note: the Dôme which houses Napoléon I’s tomb is not accessible to individuals with reduced mobility since there are steps both inside and outside.
Utilizing the Audio Guide: On your chosen travel date, before your scheduled start time, we will email you links for audioguide application access. To use your audioguide: Simply download the application to your phone from the provided link.
Please ensure you have downloaded the audioguide application stations before visiting the museum or have a stable internet connection available for access
Some of the exhibitions in the museum may not be on display due to being loaned to other museums
The audioguide application may not include works from temporary exhibitions.
During peak seasons, expect lines at security checkpoints. Please note that your ticket does not provide priority access. In the busiest periods, entry may take longer than usual.
